This is a simple app which helps you to study the behavior of matter under the influence of electromagnetic fields. It is intended for students who are learning about quantum mechanics.
There are four sections:
Atomic structure – describes the atom as a nucleus with orbiting electrons.
Motion – using the de Broglie wave equation to calculate the wavelength and momentum of moving bodies.
Scattering – using the concept of diffraction to study the effect of the wave nature of matter on light.
Density – the electron density of an atom can be used to study the location of the electrons within the atom.
